Bloo contains an option that will allow posters to change the date and time of a post.
Why would you want to do this? Well, sometimes the blogging muse speaks and you want to create the post but perhaps don't want it to hit the blog until later. Maybe it will be more appropriate in the morning, or there are several other new posts up and you want to space things out.
To change the date and time on posts, your blog has to be setup to do so (it is, by default, starting with version 1.28). If you're the blog administrator, follow the steps below. If not, buy your blog administrator a twinkie and ask him/her to do so.
Here's how an administer can enable/disable the changing of post dates and time:
In the administration menu, select Lists and Settings. Then select Post Settings. The following panel will display. To enable the changing of post dates and times, make sure the Allow posters to edit the date and time of a post checkbox is checked, as shown below:
To actually change the date and time of a post, notice that there is a Modify the post date and time checkbox below the post create/update form, as shown below:
Once that box is checked, a field will appear that can be used to change the post date and time. The field will accept pretty much any recognized date/time format, but it's a good idea to stick with the format provided.
Important: If the date and time on a post is set to some time in the future, the post won't appear until that time arrives.
