The most important thing to know about Bloo is this: Everything is a SnapOn.

Other web-based software packages often provide extensibility through "plug-ins". But Bloo is more like a creation built out of puzzle pieces or legos. Every part of it is built out of SnapOns, and Bloo Extensions (what are called "SnapOns" in the administrative menu) are just SnapOns that the system loads conditionally, based on whether the blog administrator has enabled them.
